This was the third bridal shop I tried and was just average as far as bridal gowns go. If you are looking for a modest gown, half this shop has gowns already altered with sleeves. As I did not, it was hard to imagine what the gowns would look like without the sleeves. Also, I’ve seen really nice stylish sleeves put on gowns and all these were very plain. I would reccomend, if you don’t like what the seamstress they have has to say about making your sleeves, that you get a second opinion. But as I said, I wasn’t looking for sleeves. The staff was helpful once I was there but I had called ahead and been assured that they had the 4 dresses I wanted in stock. But when I showed, only one was to be found, and not my favorite one. They said the other three must have been sold, but could they show me other dresses? I was reluctant and annoyed…we had gone out of our way to come here because they said they had the dresses I wanted. They had a ton of bridesmaid dresses in a variety of s

Danielle’s was recommended to me by a friend who had purchased her gown there. It is the only store I spent more than 5 minutes in. Pam treated me like a queen despite my desire for a VERY affordable dress! Not only that, but she actually paid attention to what I liked and even identified my style before I had even figured it out simply by observing the types of materials and gowns I gravitated towards. She never tried to force her opinion on me though she was tactfully honest if she thought a dress, even a more expensive one, wasn’t as flattering as another, while at other stores you come out greeted by “oh my goodness you look gorgeous” in a way that makes you doubt their sincerity. The dressing rooms were large and had mirrors so I could reject a dress without having to go out in front of everyone in it!At the end of my first visit she advised me to try on lots of other dresses before deciding, rather than trying to coerce me into choosing the dress I was clearly partial to tha

The Bride’s Shop has the Pronovias line of wedding dresses, which are just gorgeous. I am very happy with my dress. The owner (Kathy), JoAnn (sales), and Yrma (alterations) are all very nice. But there are two other ladies that work there that are very snotty and just argue with you if you bring up the slightest concern about anything! I hated the way they treated me.I ran into some problems with alterations, though. They kept telling me that “next time” would be my final fitting, but then I would come back and they would not have worked on the dress AT ALL, even though we had talked very specifically about what needed to be done. When this kept happening, I started calling the store before I took the time to come in. I’d have them promise me that they had worked on it this time, and they would say “yes, it’s done” and then we would get there and it would not be done at all! So that was crazy, but despite the problems, I still can come away saying that Yrma is a very nice person wh
