Where is the Best Bridal in New York, New York?
I finally decided to look for my wedding dress exactly 6 mths before the wedding. It was difficult for me to set appointments at convenient times at various bridal boutiques and time was running short on ordering a dress in time to make my wedding date. I didn’t have much time and decided to reach Julie Sabatino of The Stylish Bride. She knew exactly where to go dress shopping based on my style, figure, expectations, etc. She was a huge help with finding the perfect veil, hair pieces, shoes, under garments, etc. With so many options and not a ton of time to spend combing through boutiques, Julie’s expertise was truly a life saver. You want to look your best on your wedding day and having an expert that knows her way around the industry with great contacts is essential–not to mention an enormous relief for a stressed bride! I recently bought a dress at Kelima and had a truly unique and remarkable experience that I felt I had to write about. Usually when I shop for a dress I am met with relatively impersonal not to mention pushy salespeople. Shopping at Kelima was anything but impersonal. The dresses speak for themselves but Kelima and her staff were so sweet and helpful and really understood what I was looking for. She did my alterations on site and made sure the dress fit perfectly. It felt amazing to wear something that seemed almost tailor made for me! Her wedding dresses are also breathtaking. I was I had discovered this store when I was looking for my wedding dress. Just purchased my dress from RK Bridal and in all honesty, had I read these reviews first, I would have never stepped foot in the place. My honest assessment thus far is pretty good but based upon these reviews, I am scared to have my alterations done here. I just my take my dress elsewhere for the alterations. I find the treatment by so many people here unacceptable if true. This is waaaay too many negative reviews for a business to have. Seriously. In all honesty, I have had a great expereince so far. Yes…it is busy…but use your common sense. I have been three times so far. My first time I went on a Saturday….but we got there at 10am. We were seen within 1/2 hour or so. I loved the fact that we got to go through the racks first and make our selections. We were told that we could choose up to seven dresses. We did and thenmy consultant brought in more as we tried on dresses. For me, the best thing about this place is the selection of plus size dresses…I’m t
i had a great experince with dorris i was ordering my dress over seas ,miles away in another contient yet i recieved the kind of attention, i would recieve from the shop next door ,Shirley was the one who took care of my order right before christmass ,they were very helpful and very efficient i emailed other bridal shops in NY to order my dress ,they were the quickest to respond and the dress was delivered right on time i would definitly recommend dorris to anybody
When a close family member passed away last month, the staff at L’Atelier was so helpful and understanding in a time of deep grief. The arangements that Hillary (the shop owner) created were so beautifully and tastefully put together. I cannot say enough good things about my experience here. Not that i’m a big flower person (which my wife has no problem reminding me of), but for my next occasion (hopefully a positive one) i will be sure to keep my business with the kind, creative and professional staff of L’Atelier Des Fleurs.
