Where is the Best Bridal in New York, New York?
Working with Angelo is like hanging out with your best friend. He is not only imaginative and talented, but so much fun and such a character. When I walked in we sat down and talked about what I wanted, the effect, style, concerns about areas of my body I wanted to hide/camo/accentuate and price. Then he sketched some ideas, listened to my suggestions, gave input and scketched some more. when I left he had drawn the most beautiful gown I could have imagined, sculptural, original, elegant and exactly “me.” Then he went on to make that into a reality, fitting it to my body perfectly as he went along. This was an extremely rewarding process. It is rare to get such attention, and at such a reasonable price! My style of dress would have cost double from a store like klienfelds. Instead I got a custom gown tailored for me and did not have to deal with the headache of the other stores. Since then I have gone back to him and have 3 special occasion dresses by him now, all are original yet flat
If you are not planning to spend less than $4000 there I wouldn’t waste time, as $4-6k is their lower range as I was told by consultant Anju. She was very nice and attentive and even though my budget was around $3000, did her best, found and brought out few gowns, close to the style I described. I will probably otp for one of the cheaper brands in the end, and buy the dress elsewhere, but overall impression was good. Pros + serviceCons – expensive brands (if they don’t fit your budget obviously)
I was searching for a place to have my bridal gown made, because I couldn’t find anything in stores. I’m a bit of procrastinator, but when I heard from a friend that there is a small studio specializing in fast and excellent workmanship of custom design clothing I was curious. I found the listing through the site and made an appointment. I have to admit I was only 8 weeks away from my wedding date, and was thrilled to find out that they could help not only custom make but also design the gown for me. I had a beautiful mermaid shape gown with hand aplliqued lace and long silk train made just on time for my winter wedding. They also helped me to choose matching accessories and made me a beautiful veil and shrug as well. Girls that work there: Lana and Lauren are so talented and pleasant to work with, I am thinking of ordering an evening gown soon as well!Pros + personalized service,
Lara was kind, honest, and knows her stuff when it comes to the construction and fit of couture wedding gowns. Alterations are not included in the cost of the mostly $4,000+ gowns, but if you’ve got the budget, this is the place to go! Fabrics are incredible, the cuts of the gowns are amazing, and the salon could not be nicer looking. Pros + Wonderful service, gorgeous gownsCons – Doesn’t fit into the average bride’s budget
