While shopping for an engagement ring for my girlfriend, I visited many “jewelers” within the malls and in Buckhead and midtown high rises…I just couldn’t get away from the constant feeling of being pressured on a used car lot. They seemed to make the entire process much more complicated than I felt it should be. As a guy walking off the street, I couldn’t get a straight answer on any of my questions. The prices seemed arbitrary and I was hesitant to spend that kind of money without feeling comfortable that the end result would be everything that I wanted (and my fiance too!)
