These designers were very welcoming at our first appointment, and they listened very well to what my daughter wanted. They made us both feel like they really wanted to please us, not just take on a job. And they delivered exactly what they promised, and more.They also got back with us with a bid in less than a week, which was very detailed and within our budget. In this respect they were far and away more professional, flexible and business-like than anyone else we met with, and it had a big impact on our decision to use them. You can design your own pieces with their help and suggestions or you can pick from a wide variety of jewelry that they have designed. You can have your old jewelry reset into a more up-to-date piece that you will wear more often. The owners hand pick their stones so you know that they are certified and high quality. My husband went in with a picture of a ring he saw in a magazine that he wanted to design for my engagement ring. He told them how much he wanted to spend and they exceeded his expectations. Once we were engaged, they helped me design my wedding band so that it fit completely flush to the 3-stone ring, which can be very difficult. We went to Kelly’s Closet for my daughter’s first time to try on wedding dresses. We were the first appointment and were welcomed with bright smiles by several of the sales girls. Our consultant, Laurie, sat down with us and got the details of the wedding, i.e. venue, dates, etc. She invited us to select dresses that caught our eye and she’d suggest a few too. My daughter tried on 7 or 8 gowns and liked 4, but each one had a little something that she would like to change. Laurie was helpful in letting us see how the gown would look with the changes. We had four other appointments that day after Kelly’s so my daughter wanted to see what else was out there. Laurie wished is luck and said that she would check back with us in a couple of weeks to see if we found anything. Shopping for a wedding dress can be overwhelming, but Casa di Moda made it such a pleasant experience. The selection of dresses is small compared to stores like Bridals by Lori, but the dresses are gorgeous and they offer styles to suit a variety of different tastes. The service is warm and personal, from first-time browsing to the final fitting. I didn’t feel the same pressure here that I felt at other boutiques. And the salesperson (Zoica) just knew exactly which dress would be perfect on me–she was right. The one she suggested was the one I walked down the aisle in. They made me feel like a good friend every time I walked in the door.
