Where is the Best Breakfast in Tucson, Arizona?
I personally love IHOP! But my fiance was very disappointed with the service and the crowds here is Tucson. We are originally from Simi Valley, CA and restraunts only get busy on weekends there. The IHOP there has maybe 10 famalies at a time. But for me I think there food is excellent and I LOVE it that they serve breakfast all day! Plus, it is a very inexpensive place to eat.
i know, it’s just denny’s for goodness sake! fast food at it’s best perhaps, but maybe one day, someone with the capacity for independent thought, one who appreciates the joy of food and the creativity possible with cooking, one who has a desire to please the palette, will take some fresh potatoes, chop them up, and fry them on the griddle with onions. they may turn out a little differently each time, but, oh, wouldn’t that be a delicious treat! real home fries! yummy! you won’t get this at denny’s.
This place is a favorite and with good reason – the crowd is cool, the ambiance is terrific, you can sit outside etc. Sadly, however, the food and the service is so spotty that it becomes a gamble. Last night my brother and I tried to get a beer and some nachos. The service was so bad that our nachos came out before our beers. The nachos, sadly, were just a huge pile of chips with not enough toppings to even cover the first layer. I want to love the place and support it so it was disappointing that our experience was so lame. Your basic greasy spoon, but clean, without the grease. They do what they do so well! Yummy sticky buns and chaos and eggs and bacon and homemade toast. The coffee keeps coming. And the waitresses are nice! They could easily have a 24hr business, but instead they close after lunch and are no where to be seen on Sundays. They take time to be closed–maybe that’s why it is so human in there.Pros + crowded, fresh, yummyCons – limited hours
