Where is the Best Breakfast in Nashville, Tennessee?
The French Toast was AWESOME! Very pretty looking too! If the person ahead of us hadn’t noticed we had to get a parking ticket, we might’ve gotten towed! It’s free in the parking lot behind for the 1st 1 1/2 hrs. (with a lot ticket)…other wise you need to find street parking. We went on a Monday afternoon, so the wait was under 10 minutes. We got seated at a table along the wall, so we were very close to the two tables on either side of us. But it was a casual place and the waitress was very relaxed, it was enjoyable. The volume seemed loud at times, but nothing too over the top. The service was fast & friendly and the order, accurate. The bathrooms could’ve used work, but I’ve seen worse. The table was clean. The cashier was nice. It was nice to not have to wait for the waitress the realize we were done and then bring us a ticket, she brought it out shortly after our order, when she checked on us and we payed at the register, when we were ready. She kept checking on us and getting u
My wife & I spent 4 nights at the Opryland hotel over the New Year Eve weekend. We are repeat visitors. Our experience with the check in desk was wonderful. We found them the be very friendly, cheerful, helpful yet professional through our process of checking in & out. The housecleaning staff mostly is extremely limited in the English language but always smiled & said hello. Our atrium room view was once again was simply beautifyl. We enjoy sitting on the balcony, watching the people and enjoying the beauty of the gardens. Our room & beds were clean however we did notice that the hotel is in desire needs of a comestic upgrading. Both inour room & hallways we noticed many places where the wallpaper was torn or coming off the wall. The carpets are in major need of a good cleaning especially in the high traffic areas. We feel the $15 dollars a day plus $18 a day to park is a bit to much considering the atrium room are in the mid to high $200 dollar range. We will most likely return and ar
now they are limiting refills on those of us who bought their promo cups. promo cups were sold as buy one refill and then free refills for rest of the day. again, i understand cost, etc, BUT we are advertising for this company. come on Bread and Co. give your loyal customers some kind of break. I have posted my review and somehow Citysearch erased it. Here is a recap:1. Visited this place twice both times on Sunday2. Both times observed 3 unfriedly hostesses by the door3. Waitress was friendly but seemd rushed so it was never possible to ask for for extra napkins and such, so I would get up myself to relieve her of that duty.4. Twice it took very long time to wait for food: 45 min. and 30 min respectively.5. Food is ok but very very greasy which made my stomach turn. I was also astonished by observing that each table around us had very heave customers each weighted no less than 300lb, Le Peep need to offer healthier options.6. Once we wer ready to pay we proceeded to the front desk/bar. There one of the hostesses kept chatting in foreigh language with her other co-worker and her what appeared to be boyfriend. All 3 kept chatting while we waited for the hostess to ring us up. Not untill we said ”Excuse us” she turned on her high chair to us. Then she turned right back
This has always been one of my favorite places, but new owners recently took over and the vibe as well as the food, etc. seems to be changing– and not necessarily for the better. Rather than doing a slow transition to find out what is popular and why, the owners have immediately started making changes to items on the menu and to things (such as muffins, etc.) that they get from other vendors, without getting to know the existing customers and what they like. They have turned off the wifi during certain times, and the drive thru is now only for phoned-in orders for much of the day. There are reasons this cafe has become so popular, but if much of that is to be changed, then why still call it “Sam & Zoe’s”? I’ve heard that the new owners are from Star Bagel, so it would seem to follow to change the name if it’s going to be modeled after that business. They’ll probably develop a new customer base, BUTfor those of us long time fans, a big loss…RIP, Sam & Zoe’s.
