A local hangout- really nothing to write home about. Decent prices but pretty much can get the same fare at any breakfast place. Older people would probably like the value. Serice friendly enough. Just not what I expected, so I was a little disappointed

Everyone keeps mentioning breakfast (which is great!). But the daily lunch specials are fantastic! The service is very good with experienced waitstaff and prompt service. Great chicken ‘n dumplings! The parking lot is small, however. This was the first home of Kemmons Wilson, founder of Holiday Inns, which accounts for the odd layout of the restaurant. It’s fun to figure out if you’re eating in what used to be the living room, dining room, a bedroom or whatnot :)Pros + Good food, friendly and fast serviceCons – Small parking lot; lunchtime wait

If you are ready for your day to begin the right way, head over to Brother Juniper’s! I had read all the reviews, seen them on TV food shows but still, when I went with my husband and baby we didn’t want to buy into all the hype as to not to be disappointed. And so we waited outside for 15 minutes until a table cleared in this tiny “house” of a restaurant, we were seated and after looking at the very varied and interesting menu we ordered a Hungry Tiger for hubby and a San Diegan for me….When they brought our food I thought I had died and gone to heaven only to have Brother Juniper open up the gates….. OH.MY.GAWD. Yes, it was THAT good, yes, capital letters good, silly heaven references good, fluffy bunnies, unicorns and rainbows in your plate good. I have been back to this place often after this experience and the service and food have been consistent which is a major plus. I wonder if the wait will be that long in winter time, and if I will be able to stand a 15 minute wa

I took my best friend to Paulette’s for lunch last week and was dissapointed with the restaurant for a couple of reasons. First, the seating for two is so close to other people that there is no way to have a personal conversation. I ordered what I thought might be a healthy alternative wich was Salmon on a bed of spinach. The salmon was tasty but submerged in a thick white cheese sauce and the spinach was fresh….but deep fried. The bottom of the plate was soaked with oil. My girlfriends experience was really not much better. It had been years since I have been there and remember the food being much better. Just my opinion.
