Where is the Best Breakfast in Hartford, Connecticut?
Sunday Morning.. Ok.. LATE morning… Amazing breakfast/brunch in RECORD TIME!!..as in.. before you finish HALF of your 1st cup of coffee… YEAH! My fiance and I always get the same thing and seldom waiver, but the scrambled and over easy eggs are always terrific, the hash browns are obviously fresh cut potatoes, golden crisp, and very tasty; the coffee is always kept topped off with typically strong brewed diner brew, and the sausage is a crisp snap to the link, perfectly cooked through, and juicy–nowhere near dried out!. In not-so-many words… Olympia Diner is a TERRIFIC place to go for a not-so-pricey, plentiful breakfast, in an o-so-diner-esk ambiance!! GO THERE!! YOU’LL LOVE IT AND GO BACK AGAIN!!…… PLUS they are open late night and have TERRIFIC gyros.. yee-rose… well… great food!! GO THERE!!!!
If you are ever in wethersfield stop by wethersfield diner, they have the best breakfast you can get and very affordable, or if its lunch or dinner time hope you are hungry, cause the portions are huge and food is great along with the service that you get from the people and owner Nick. It’s one of those places where everybody knows your name and happy to see you, even if you just stop in for a cup of coffee the owner takes time out to greet you. Take it from me the food is great I look forward to it after church and I look forward to it sometimes after a long ride home for that great cup of coffee, thanks Nick and staff keep packing them in!!!
Don’t let the small nondescrepit building fool you, Mo’s Midtown is the epitome of breakfast entree restaurants. From fluffy mouthwatering pancakes, to skillets that sizzle and smell better than your mom’s cooking, after trying the exquisite delights here you will realize why this diner has been awarded on the top of Hartford Courant’s Awards. Get ready for the long lines in the morning from both the curious and the frequent customers; fortunately, the wait is worth it in the end. Compared chains such as IHOP and Denny’s, Mo’s Downtown blasts the competition with its consistency in great service, food, and especially getting “your money’s worth”. A visit to Hartford is not a real one without a stop at Mo’s!Pros + Inexpensive, Plenty of Food, Great WorkersCons – Long Lines, No Parking, Crowded Area
