Where is the Best Breakfast in Dallas, Texas?
Wow where do I start? The Mecca fits it’s name to a T. I went to the establishment on 2/27/10 and 2/28/10 because it’s that good. I ordered the steak eggs and it came with hashbrowns and biscuits the size of your fist balled up. The waitress Lisa is who you must ask for because she will take care of you. On 2/28/10 I ordered the chicken fried steak and man was it slammin. This round I ordered it will grits and corned beef hash and what a treat it was. Lisa looked out for us again and took extra special care of our table. I never got to make it to the lunch menu but there is always next time. I’d give it ten stars but five are only allowed. On our first trip to Bread Winners a few months ago- after finding it on City Search, since we wanted something new- we were pleasantly surprised! First off we were seated quickly- though there are times you will need to wait 10-15 minutes on a busy day. The establishment is upscale yet casual and they serve bits of flavored breads while you wait to order, The service was excellent and the food was absolutely PERFECT- if not a little in excess!! The price is quite affordable for the food that you will recieve and even though we drive 45 minutes to get there- We look forward to the trip every couple of weeks since the initial visit. and have yet to be disappointed with ANY of the menu items we have tried- and always leave with a loaf of bread for the next week. WeI highly recommend this place!! Pros + Excellent food in a classy casual environment!Cons – A bit of a drive – but worth it.
If you are looking for great comfort food you’ve come to the right place. It’s a casual and friendly atmosphere; great place for kids!!!! The food is fresh, hot, and very good. Choose between the fried chicken or chicken fried steak, you can’t go wrong. A good selection of veggies and hot rolls with honey are a perfect compliment. Leave room for the cobbler! Only drawback I see is that you have to wait on yourself, but that is a small thing. If you don’t want to eat there you can take it home and tell people you made it yourself. Give it a try, I don’t think you will be disappointed.
