Where is the Best Boutique in Portland, Oregon?
I went into this boutique with not much time and a need to find something cute for a surprise date this past Friday night. The girl behind the counter was *super* helpful and really helped me pick out some cute things for my body type. I wore her suggestion and the guy was blown away :)Not just that, but I picked up 3 super cute tops, a gorgeous bangle and 5-6 ‘bandeau tops” (basically awesome little colored bandeaus to use in place of camis as layer pieces with NO bulk) all for under $300… a screaming deal.I would shop here again any day. I’ve been in once or twice before and have never left empty handed, but this was such a great shopping experience that I just had to write a review!Pros + great customer service, awesome selection of clothes and jewellry, inexpensiveCons – pearl district? you know it.. parking.
My kids and my husband were sick over christmas. I did all my all my shopping in one stop at Bella Lulu. I called ahead, they had suggestions ready for me when I arrived and wrapped them up and had me out the door in less than an hour. The service was great. and everyone loved their gifts. Granted, it was not cheap, however, instead of buying giftS for the family, they each got one more meaningful thing. A robe for my husband, a toy for each of my sons, a blanket for my mother-in-law.Pros + Great variety and selection for all gift-giving occasaions and tastes.
I met Gypsy Chic at the Saturday Market and fell in love with an amazing long coral colored bohemian dress. I wanted it in some of the other colors as well, but didn’t have the funds at the time. A week later (pay day) I went into the shop on Mississippi to buy the same dress in 2 other colors. I fell in love with the entire shop and I plan on purchasing a lot more from Gypsy Chic.I have been complimented by men and woman of different ages EVERY time I wear any of my dresses. On top of which they are ohhh so comfy to wear!!! As if it couldn’t get any better, the sweet adorable owner just makes you feel like she is your own personal designer and she has an awesome upbeat comforting personality!!! This donna chick is really talented…or maybe it’s her mysterious sidekick, toots…anyway, if you’re looking for serious fashion that won’t fall apart as soon as you’re taking back out your car keys, toot your horn for joy and pop in to this classy joint! The handmade styles are sleek and subtly retrofied. And the staff is truly kind, down to earth, with a pinch of humor. Who could ask for more?!!! Pros + warm and welcoming ambience, fair prices
