Not every woman who needs a large bra is a “full figured” woman. Too bad American retail stores don’t recognize that. GREAT for The Bra Specialist!!! Formerly known as Sheer Fantasy, this Lingerie/Bra Store is a Godsend for those with hard to find sizes. Not only to they stock bras and lingerie, but swimwear as well. I have been shopping here for about 8 years and I love this place. They professionally fit you. They do custom alterations. And best of all, they have gorgeous bras in the big sizes that I thought only came in “grandma bras!” Being a 5’3″, 120lbs and wearing 34F isn’t easy. NOTHING EVER FITS. I’ve been battling this since I was in the 9th grade. When I found The Bra Specialist my sophmore year of high school, I cried. Literally. The staff are all consumate professionals. The prices are pretty reasonable, although they do carry some pretty high end merchandise. If you aren’t big busted go and check it out, they don’t discriminate at The Bra Specialist; they carry ALL size
I thought shopping for maternity clothes would be easy but I did not find a single store in Houston that seemed to really understand my needs until Pickles & IceCream. The salespeople held my hand through it all and helped me build a wardrobe that would work for my law office and my jeans days (so many designer jeans to choose from, it was hard to stop with just 3 pairs). Now I am so excited about being well-dressed and wearing clothes that are made to support my changing figure. I will definitely be going back to Pickles & IceCream to see all the cute clothes that will be in for the Fall. I highly recommend this store to anyone looking for the right kind of help (friendly and knowledgeable) and the right selection for work and weekends! Really what seperates BB1 Classic from most women’s clothing boutiques in houston is their customer care. Seriously when I shop here everyone is so helpful. They always offer me drinks, wine, tea, and snacks. No one has every been rude to me or snooty to me like the sales associates at Tootsies. Also their taste in fashion is great bar none, I really like their lines from Europe. They have luxury clothing that no one else seems to have which is highlighted in their two-story, Tuscan-inspired space.Pros + Wide variety of trendy fashion and best customer service.Cons – Can’t always see whats in the windows because of the tint
Everyone knows that Uncle Funky’s Daughter is one of the best, most professional natural hair salons in Houston. I travel quite a bit but I always fly in to get my hair service at Uncle Funky?s. The owners and staff are well-respected, friendly and have always provided exceptional service to many, very satisfied clients — present company included. It is unfortunate that some people spend time writing bogus comments about the owner with an attempt to defame the business while at the same time–coincidentally listing the phone number to their “new” salon that has exceptional service. There is a ?best salon ever? type salon out there for everybody, and as human beings we should love ourselves and each other enough to provide feedback so we can collectively be better instead of discouraging potential business.
