Where is the Best Boutique in Austin, Texas?

I have been shopping at Goodie Two Shoes for years and have always been able to find something fun and affordable with every visit, whether I found exactly what I was originally looking for or not. In my experiences, the owner and staff have always been more than happy to answer any questions or help find my shoe size, even if it means extensive digging in the stockroom. (I have tiny feet and employee trips to the back room are standard procedure when I shoe shop; stores with patient employees are few and far between.)I need new shoes for spring (specifically jellies like I wore when I was 8 in 1989!) and Goodie Two Shoes will be the first place I check out this weekend. Note: the lot behind the store makes it easy to avoid the nightmare that is South Congress parking!Pros + friendly service, wide selection of shoe sizes and stylesCons – quality isn’t high; you’re buying one/two-season trends

We love to be trend setters and if you are anything like us Apricot Lane is the place to be! They only carry a few of the same fashions so you will never be caught at a party with someone else wearing what you are wearing! (I hate it when that happens) Also all of their styles are fresh and amazing. Everytime I or my daughter are wearing something from Apricot Lane the compliments keep coming and everyone wants to know where we got it. They also throw the most amazing fashion parties, all you have to do is show up and they provide the food and drinks. Now that’s my kind of party! If you looking for original designs and style that can’t be duplicated, Apricot Lane is the place to go!Pros + Only carry a few of the same styles, Fun fashion parties!Cons – none

There’s no doubt Fetish carries quality clothing and shoes provided you’re a size 0-12. However, clothing racks are too tight and makes it difficult/and frustrating to look for outfits. I do have to agree with some of the other reviews that the staff can be on the snooty side. I have experienced both bad and good. However, I have met the owner and think she’s great.Pros + Very good qualityCons – Customer service, Clothing arrangement, Carry bigger sizes

The young ladies at Peyton’s Place have restored my faith in customer service. My hubby planned a special night out which included me going on a “treasure hunt” and one of the stops was Peyton’s Place. The ladies that work there were in on the plan. When I walked in the door they greeted me by name and and showed me the cutest, yet sophisticated line of clothes. And the prices were great. Although I was there on my own, they made me feel like they were on the journey with me. Telling me what looked great and what didn’t look the best on me. I could not have asked for a better experience. I LOVE THEM!!! I walked out of there feeling like the “girl of the hour” which is what my hubby intended. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!Pros + Best customer service!!

Though the clothing is very cute, the prices are outrageous, I’m a fashion junky but even I’m not willing to pay $65 for a poorly sewn tank dress. To give them credit they have some really good sales (I bought some silver eyeliner for $4.50 and a pair of black and white leg warmers for $3.50!), but everything that’s priced without markdown is definately overpriced. I couldn’t bring myself to even touch half the clothes without first lifting the tag for a look at the price. They run in the same circle as Strut, cute clothes, not always of the best quality, but I’d much rather go to Strut just because the prices are a little more reasonable. Pros + Fun atmosphere, cute clothesCons – Parking, the store is a hassle to get to if you’re coming from the north on lamar, way overpriced, not very attentive staff.
