Where is the Best Boutique Hotel in Orange County, California?
Not fine luxury, but passably fine, if you desire the roar of ocean waves directly outside your room. We stayed here after we’d been at the Ritz, so it was at first a bit of a letdown, understandably. But our first priority is an oceanside room, on the beach. And this fits the bill. Saving hundreds of dollars per night over the Ritz, and you’re still in the heart of Laguna Beach, walking distance from everything!
Check-in: quick, without hassles. Breakfast service: 7-9 a.m., decent quality, choices, but basic breakfast. Seating indoors was limited, but plenty of seating outdoors, by pool. Chilly mornings would make it difficult to enjoy a leisurely breakfast, but this is SoCal – not too many cold mornings. Maid service: impeccable.
