The Rosewood Inn Bed and Breakfast is by far the finest my wife and I have visited. The innkeepers have meticulously and lovingly listened to their guests’ suggestions and thought of every detail. Nearly every room is equipped with both a jacuzzi bath AND fireplace, and boasts a uniquely charming decor. Our room, the Solarium, had windows that stretched 20′ and arched into the ceiling. Breakfast was fabulous, and can be served in your room at your request. We felt completely and romantically secluded, and slept wonderfully. The Inn is an easy walk from delightful downtown Hastings, where we enjoyed antique shopping and great dining. A little on the expensive side, but worth saving up for!Pros + Luxurious Rooms, Jacuzzi & Fireplace, Very RomanticCons – Expensive

My husband and I went to the Inn for dinner on Fri. night, the day after Valentine’s Day. I thought it was very beautiful, romantic, and cozy. My husband thought the steak he had was a little grisly, but my tenderloin was perfect. Also, the wedge salad was delicious. Overall, we had a great time. Can’t wait to go back and stay overnight next time!

This hotel is underwhelming given the alternatives in the nearby vicinity. Our company no doubt selected it because of a favorable conference deal, but the room itself was at a rate almost identical to several other hotels down the street that offer much newer facilities and better locations. On the plus side, the staff was reasonably helpful when trying to…

Paid about $125 per night (all taxes/fees included) for a king size bed room (OCT 2009) from 1800hotels. Building/area: Read up on the Foshay building and its history. That’s where the W is located after a multimillion $ renovation. Beautiful building. A very nice mix of retro and ultra modern features inside. It is located downtown, lots of business buildings…

This charming home turned B&B was a great escape from Minneapolis. Our room was wonderfully cozy and the whirlpool added to the relaxation. There wasn’t a detail that was overlooked. The owner made every effort to make us feel at home. The breakfast which we chose to have delivered to our room was 5 stars. We can’t wait to go back. The location is fantastic just a few short blocks from the main street of Red wing. Best stay at a B&B I have ever had. Pros + Location, value, breakfastCons – none
