Where is the Best Boutique Hotel in Miami, Florida?
The blinding white and light of the Agua Spa coupled with the lack of doors or walls for most body treatments make this one of the most difficult places to relax. Flowy white curtains throughout the spa may be pretty, but being able to hear every body movement, word or whisper from the therapist or clients in the space next to you is not my idea of an escape! There is little that is “meditative” about Agua and you must certainly use “your universal life force” to remain calm!Cons – lack of privacy, loudness, attitude
I was a little worried about staying here after so many of the recent reviews. As many people have pointed out the hotel rooms are need of a little tlc. However, our room was much more spacious then the other hotels we have stayed in on Ocean Drive and the Aveda products in the bathroom were a nice touch. The…
The hotel website makes this place look amazing, but sadly, I was let down. It looks more modern online than it is. If this hotel wants to keep the stark white appearance, then they’d better start painting! The carpeting needs to be replaced since it’s pretty worn down. The downstairs pool area was cute with the cabanas, but they could…
1 of 1 people found the following review helpful — We booked the Albion for 3 nights at an outstanding rate….well below the standard rate listed on their site (less than half!!). For this price, the room, service and overall atmosphere were very good. Now, if I had paid the full rate for each night I would likely would have expected a little more. Positives: absolutely great location…walking distance to beach, clubs and restaurants. — very friendly staff — great price. Negatives: very small bathrooms — beds were not done up very well (bottom sheets slipped off every night, exposing the bare mattress) — very thin walls (heard A LOT of interesting things from the couple next door 😉
As i was reading some reviews before the trip, i became skeptical about the hotel but i should have known. When checking in, the agent at the desk (Gladys) was very unpleasant. She never smiled during the entire process. The lobby was dirty, footsteps all over the floor. There was another girl but she was on the phone for at least 5mns must have been a personal call. I found out that she was the manager the day of our departure. Customer Service at that place really is at the bottom of the list. The GM (Adolfo) something is very fishy about him. he never came up to answer a question at the desk. I guess he’s too fat. Anyways i will never spend a dime at that hotel.Pros + Parking, BarCons – Service, Staff, Management, Rooms
