To my delight, I discovered this store during 08’s Sundance Festival. It’s a doorway to enchantment — everywhere you look is something to intrigue, fascinate, mesmerize, beguile. I agree with a reviewer above: you’ll stay much longer than you thought you would want to, and you won’t want to leave. Might be good to do a credit card buddy system — you don’t get to use yours unless the bud agrees. Naahh. Wouldn’t work on me, either. I wasn’t even the one who suggested going inside, but I was the one who had to be dragged out the door by her friends. Don’t miss it! The Golden Braid Bookstore in downtown Salt Lake provides one of the best selections of candles, fountains, books, and service I have ever found in a New Age Book store. It is like returning to the Golden Age of New Age when everything felt new. It still feels new at the Golden Braid Bookstore.
