Where is the Best Bookstore in Houston, Texas?
This is my favorite bookstore anywhere! They carry mysteries, mysteries, and more mysteries. Don’t come here for the latest best seller, unless it’s a mystery. Want books you’ll never see in the chain stores? They’ve got ’em here. Want an out-of-print book? Check in the used book section. Want a lesser-know author’s first book? Ask, they probably have it. The employees are all serious mystery readers, and they can guide you to new authors. And maybe you’ll even get to meet your favorite authors at book signings. I’ve been coming to Murder By The Book for over 20 years. I’ve met Dick Francis, Kinky Friedman, and Janet Evanovich, among others.Pros + Huge range of titles, Used book section, Knowledgeable staff
Everytime I shop at Blue Willow Bookshop for my nieces and nephews I am able to find the perfect gift. Books, games, or educational toys you name it,they have it all. An incredible selection! The owner,Valerie Kohler,really knows the book business and what her customers want. I highly recommend this store to anyone who appreciates a knowledgeable staff and excellant service.
