Where is the Best Bookstore in Charlotte, North Carolina?
My friends and I came to Charlotte from Indianapolis for the weekend to visit our friend, the Coach of the Charlotte Sting and attend the game. We decided to do some antique shopping and pulled up shops on Sewelyn Drive….well, didn’t particularly care for the shops we visited, but decided to see what The Bag Lady was all about!Never laughed so hard! Bought several books and small items……had the best time! I think the owner got a kick out of us having so much fun! Highly recommend this shop for laughs, soul searching and pleasant atmosphere!
Whenever we travel thru to SC from Charlotte, we ALWAYS stop in at the Book Lady. Yes these books are used and you will not find every book you want but they have a huge selection and affordable prices. My kids love the store because they can go in and sit at the Children’s section. They are surrounded with popular stuffed animals and books about anything and everything. We have never walked out of this store empty handed. The only downside is the owner does not buy books year round and she is not open on Monday and Tuesdays. We have traveled thru there on those days before and when the kids found out she wasn’t opened they cried. I have never had a poblem with the owner unlike some of the other post so please go and check it out for yourself.
