NO one can beat this authentic cajun food. The spices are to die for. This isn’t “Tex cajun”; it’s the real Louisiana cajun food. We ate crawfish and gumbo until we almost burst! I would recommend this place to anyone who wants great cajun food.

We went there for a friend’s graduation. The service was excellent for the most part. We sat outside with a view towards the water. The food selection was good whether you’re into seafood or not – there were enough items on the menu if you wanted something else. They have a great salad bar which can be included to your meal for a fraction of the price. The salad selection was great, there was also caviar and a few other specialty items that made it worth it.The salmon I had was grilled to perfection – tender and juicy with enough flavor. The portions were a bit on the smaller side, especially considering the price. The bartender forgot our order twice so he had to be reminded by the server. That is especially annoying when you have a friend that graduated and you need to make a toast. The drinks were watered down and I wouldn’t really call them a value for the price. At the end of the night came the big surprise – 20% gratuity included to the dinner. Now, standard tip in Texas is 15%,

The food is good, they have online quiz games you can play, or arcade type games, they have pool tables, kareoke, all kinds of stuff to enjoy. Its really fun, Ive been going here since 2002 and Im visiting again in a week and Ill definately be making the SRO in champions, my first stop after I get to my hotel.Pros + Fun place for all ages.Cons – It can get pretty busy at times.

I took my family out to Joe’s @ Kemah on August 16. 2009 and paid $7.00 parking, I presented a coupon and asked my waiter if they would honor a coupon for a classic steampot, from the Joe’s Crabshack website, he said yes. So we ordered a Appetizer crab dip and 4 drinks ,1 steampot, 1 shrimp dinner, 1popcorn shrimp dinner, 1 chickenfried steak dinner; we recieved our drinks and appetizer and after a short time our dinners, however when our dinners came out the manager came and informed me that they would not honor the steampot coupon $24.99 and was very rude and inconsiderate and told me and my family to enjoy our evening. As a former Restuarant manager and bussinessman II would have comped the steampot and apologized and hoped my customers would have pleasant dining experience. Instead I and my family left and instead of losing $24.99 Joe’s had to throwout about $80.00 worth of food, lost me and my family as customers permanantly as we will never go back, and to be sure I will tell eve

Three of us went yesterday, Sat. 3/1, about 4 in thePM and all was good. Prompt seating, good server, really good, big crawfish, Happy Hour til 6pm, what’s not to love? Two of us had pasta dishes, both huge, even though we had the small serving, and 1 had the Boudain(?), even the Caesar salad was top notch. We had 4 cocktails, a beer, 4lbs of crawfish, plus the 4 other itmes, and the bill was $85. Not bad at all, and everything was delciousPros + All was goodCons – None
