Where is the Best Blues Club in Los Angeles, California?
Too old to Rock and Rock, too young to die…. some really good bands with lots of hit records still going strong in the New Millenium and even “Which One’s Pink?” the absolute best Pink Floyd tribute I’ve ever seen. Concert with dinner isn’t cheap, but the Prime Rib was absolutely HUGE. Comfortable sofas and chairs available when concerts aren’t completly sold out and a great atmosphere to relax and watch other adults obviously reliving some fond musical memories. Etta James, BB King, and Buddy Guy were 3 standout (and sold out shows) I really enjoyed, actually much better than arena concerts. Really good sound system and lights. General friendly vibe and atmosphere. Fun to meet and chat with other concert goers while sharing one of the big sofas.Pros + comfortable sofas, easy parkingCons – can be crowded
Rusty’s is typical of any restaurant located in a touristy area – overpriced with okay American food. I’ve tried several things on the menu and have yet to find anything to write home about. That said, if you’re a bloody mary fan, they make a delicious drink! The bar scene at Rusty’s in general fairs better than the food. Offering live music and karaoke at night, as well as pool, the bar can be a fun place to spend an evening. During the Pier’s Twilight Dance Series, Rusty’s is THE place to go for a drink. Stand out on the patio and enjoy a drink with the live concert in the background or go inside for some more live music and dancing. Just be prepared for a crowd.Pros + A fun bar scene on the right night, they get some great bandsCons – Over priced and mediocre food
