Where is the Best Blowout in San Francisco, California?
I have been coming to the Barber Lounge for a long time. I have gotten amazing services from Try, Zeon, Greg, hoang, liz, jc, oscar, and lenida. Plus Louie the Dog is super cute. I love the atmosphere. It is a welcoming, unpretentious place. The front desk crew is very kind and helpful. Plus they serve free beer and wine. Pros + Down to earth, fun, professional artists!
I am so grateful to a friend who suggested that I go to Thomas at the Chakra Salon for a haircut while I was visiting in Marin County. What a marvelous experience!! My hair is very curly and white – each of which equals unruly! I was unable to control it – much less style it. Thomas was engaging – delightfully friendly, professional to the core, and amazingly gifted with shears – a true stylist in every sense of the word! Enough time has elapsed since Thomas cut and styled my hair that I have found that my hair has grown in such a way that I can still “deal” with it – for the first time in my life!! 🙂 I hope to be able to fly to San Francisco to make an appointment with Thomas for my next haircut and to be encouraged by his warm, caring, friendly manner. He is a well versed, intelligent person whose conversations are provocative. A real winner!! Thank you, thank you, to Bethany, the owner of Posh salon. She gave a multitude of apologies for not getting back to me; that she had not received any messages from me. She had spoken with Arthur, the stylist, and thought he had taken care of my refund. The situation was just one misunderstanding after another.After seeing my review on Yelp, she called right away to explain what had happened on her end and to offer to make it right. She offered me a full refund of my first haircut or a haircut with her at her next available appointment. I happily accepted the cut from her! She did a WONDERFUL job fixing my hair!Thank you Bethany and Posh Salon. My mother always told me: Once you find a good hairstylist to keep it to yourself, but, Jason Richard is a jewel and if any of you have had a bad haircut, color, etc. then you will know how I felt before I walked in to see him. I went in for a consultation and I had bleached bleached bleached blond hair it had some orange some yellow some white and it was fried! He showed me some pictures of what he was planning to do with my hair and I immediately felt at ease. For the first time I was excited for my hair appointment. It has been almost a month since I have gotten my hair done and I have kept receiving compliment after compliment on my hair. He made me feel confident again. He found the perfect color for me Even though my hair was so damaged to begin with it feels smoother and shinier and the color is amazing! I am absolutely going to go back! First, let me state that everyone is wonderful there. I especially adore all the Receptionist, especially Melissa. I have been going to Barberia for twenty years. The staff is friendly and everyone is beyond talented, with their skills. When you first arrive you get a warm welcome, and there is fresh water, coffee, tea, fruit while you wait. They are very talented with hi-lighting. I personally have had many of the staff work on my hair.I adore Irene, she is so sweet and times seems to fly by when your there.I have had the Brazilian Hair Straightening by TJ and he is a hard worker. He takes his time, and really wants to make sure your pleased. I have watched this young man grow up before my eyes to a very professional hair dresser. Terri Demarco should be extremely proud of him that is his son.Also, the staff who wash your hair work so hard and their not often mentioned, but they truly go to all lengths to see that the customer is happy.This review is long over
