Where is the Best Blowout in Los Angeles, California?
Flying isn?t on my list of favorite things to do but I gladly make the four hundred or so mile trip from SF for the absolutely amazing cuts and color at the Doves salon, or more specifically, for those done by Nicole Leal. There is nothing cookie cutter about the whole process?the color is always artfully and elegantly done to suit your personality and lifestyle (she makes sure it?ll grow out more subtly if you don?t color your hair as often , or gives you options?part it one way and its more vibrant, style your hair a different way and its more toned down), as is the haircut, which is always the perfect balance of what you want (or think will look good on you) and what actually does make you look awesome coming out of the salon and for weeks after. I really NEVER write reviews. I am far too busy for this kind of thing. But my experience at Treats For The Face ( Hair Salon Skin Care Waxing Bar & Boutique) was something to rave about! I drove by “treats” a few months ago and I fell in love with the cozy, non-clinical atmosphere, which is hard to find.They use very natural product lines, which are amazing and its almost impossible to find a spa that has all these qualities. They customize your facial based on your skin type and personal goals. My skin looks radiant! Veronica and her creation straight out of a little girls dream tale, combined with the fantasies of a little girl who knew she would one day have a place that catered to the needs and desires of every woman. i’m a very picky person. i’m korean american and i no longer go to korean salons because of their rude attitude. i’ve been searching online and on citysearch i ran across salon elan. i made an appointment and was very surprised at how comfortable and respectful elan was. it was a one-on-one, all the attention on me kind of service. my hair cut was PERFECT. because i’m asian i’m more picky about my hair style. i’ve had my hair done in several places in beverly hills and none of them were worth the money. if i was a celebrity, elan would be my personal hair stylist. BRAZILLIANT!!!! Is all I have to say. You won’t find a better stylist in the world. This guy gets it. How many stylist do you know use a computer software to schedule clients? Starts at 6 am? Knows color? Knows how to cut? Understands all types of hair? And reasonably priced? Oh, and did I mention, hilarious? OMG!!!! He is the BEST kept secret in HOLLYWOOD. I have booked soooo many acting and print jobs with the fabulous and trend setting hairstyles he gives me. Everywhere I go, I am constantly bombarded with compliments about who did my hair. Hey, don’t take my word for it, try him for yourself. I literally used to wait for people to start my hair for hours, He gets to me right away. Plus, I am in and out.
