Where is the Best Blowout in Los Angeles, California?
I live in Chicago and recently started visiting Los Angeles regularly (monthly) for business. Several months ago I left Chicago without having time for a haircut. A colleague recommended Billy Lowe and his salon. I called him and, since I was in a rush, he was able to work me into his schedule that same day! Haircuts are equally as important to guys as to gals and I was really nervous about going to someone other than my regular sylist. I mentioned this to Billy and he sat down with me and talked about how I wanted my hair cut. And, he did it exactly as I wanted – – not the way he thought it should be done. I have since been to him again and he changed my cut a little like he thought I should be having it done. And, it was perfect! I have now left my regular Chicago stylist of seven years and now wait until I am in Los Angeles to see Billy. He also recommended a shaving cream and shampoo which I have tried and found to be very good. His salon is small and personal – –
My experience here at the Angus m salon, was absolutely stunning. I came in not having any idea what I wanted to do with my hair but a friend of mine I work with recommended that I go see this guy who she just would not shut up about… I left this salon with a stylish new cut, and a completely new color… I went from all platinum to a nice rich brown color… By the the best salon I have every been to and they will continue to receive my business.. And let me tell you my stylist, made me feel so comfortable, but he was not pushy in any way like some of these bigger name salons can be now a days… but yes you neeeeed to go here, and see the stylist I saw… … I cant remember his name exactly but I believe it started with a V, or some strange name but he was absolutely amazing, he was taller, wore a hat… just go check him out … and he is pretty attractive…. :)!!!!!!!!!! I met Chevonne Moore in 2003 and the moment she laid her hands on my hair that was it. No one has touched these locks since. She listens, is attentive, has a vision of what works not only with your natural features of your face and style, but also with what type of hair you have naturally. Which is great because no matter what cut I get, I know I will always be able to have a fashionable hair style with a wash and wear; leaving the one hour styling in the dust. In the 7 years I have followed Chevonne people consistently give me compliments about my hair and really they all go to her. Lets just put it this way; when I got married in Italy I immediately booked her a ticket to not only do my hair but all my peeps in the wedding too. I am by no means rich, in fact far from it. As I was getting ready to write my review, I couldn’t help but notice what other people had said about this salon. It’s true that you can’t please everyone, but it seems that a great majority are quite pleased with their experience. You might ask why it matters what others have said. Well, my experience has been amazing, and I gladly pass along the info of the salon when people ask me where I get my hair done, but I feel reassured that I’m not an exception so if I refer friends and family, I know that they too will have be pleased with the service.I get my hair cut and colored on a regular basis. I have a very demanding career and unfortunately am not blessed with hours and hours that I can spend in a salon so I appreciate the fact that my appointment time is respected. I’ve never had to wait more than 5-10 minutes, and that’s been usually because I’ve arrived a few minutes early.The new location is clean, sleek, and modern.
