Where is the Best Blowout in Chicago, Illinois?
I went to Salon Envy on a recommenation of a friend after going to 3 places to get my highlights done..and not being happy with the results. I walked in and was greeting friendly. I thought the salon was cozy feeling and cute. I didn’t really care, as long as I liked my hair. I had been referred to Justyna, and I have to say I LOVE my hair for the first time in a LONG time! She listened to what I asked for, and helped make it happen. I will definately recommend her to friends, and I will be going back. I hope this is helpful to others looking for a salon with good stylists. Pros + Haircolor, cute salon, nice staffCons – parking lot busy at lunchtime!
I have been seeing Linda Licocci for years, I’ve witnessed Blade transform from a budding seed to the blooming blossom that it has now become. Both Linda and Alison are truly talented hair artists that pay careful attention to the health of each individual client’s hair as well as the style. I’ve gone through various looks: long and curly to short and straight, most colors of the Goldwell color-chart spectrum, even green, each one Linda has pulled off beautifully. I get compliments on my hair all the time, the credit is 100% hers. I doubt that you’d ever leave Linda’s chair not LOVING your haircut. A hair salon is typically a busy atmosphere with all the scissors snipping, clippers buzzing, blowdryers blowing, gossip talking etc, etc. There is something about the effortless yet beautiful feng shui of Blade that creates a relaxing and welcoming environment. Bottom line, if you haven’t tried Blade’s services at least once in your lifetime, than you can’t accurately judge how good a hair
I have been bouncing from salon to salon–some of the most highly rated in the north shore suburbs to the gold coast. And each and every time I get blonder…and blonder…and blonder. About once a year I fly back to St. Louis to my trusted colorist who laughs out loud when he sees my face. Well. No more. What can I say. Right off the bat Aimee said that I was way too blonde. Agreed. I trusted her to do her thing. As I was processing I showed her a picture of my “fixed” color. She smiled and said that was where we were going. Not only was the color perfect–but she gave me an AMAZING cut. Despite the fact that I need to get creative with parking–I will brave the treck from the Northshore.
