Where is the Best Blowout in Chicago, Illinois?
I recently decided to cut my hair drastically, about 8 inches off. I read several reviews on Salon U and chose to give it a try. It was sort of difficult to find the entrance because of some confusing scaffolding near by(though Im sure thats only temporary). I called the number of the salon and the employee on the phone said, “I will be right out to get you.” Sure enough a few seconds later a woman walked out to me and showed me in. I told her I did not have an appointment and she assured me I would be seen by a stylist today. While I waited I was offered a complmentary beverage of either wine, champagne or beer. They do offer a latte as well. I was shown to a raised waiting area that was very cozy and resembled a modern living room. The surrounding colors of greens and browns are very relaxing. I came to Chicago not knowing many people and not having a place to get my hair cut (which I desperatly needed). After reading some reviews online J Andrews Salon sounded pretty good… I figured if I didn’t like it my hair would grow out and I could go somewhere else. I had no idea how much I would love the salon. Everyone was very friendly and asked me if I would like a drink as soon as I came in. Nicole cut my hair and she was amazing. Most hair stylists will do what you ask and it will be somewhat close. Nicole did exactly what I wanted, except better! In the seven months that I lived in Chicago I had Nicole cut my hair three times… I usually get it cut every 6 months! I didn’t know what to do after leaving Chicago because Nicole and J Andrews was so amazing… so, now I just make a trip back to Chicago when I can. Nicole is a sweetheart and your haircut will be better than you could have expected.Pros + Very friendly/welcoming staff, great haircuts and blowouts
