Where is the Best Bloody Mary in San Diego, California?
We went for an early dinner on a weekday and barely had to wait for a table. Great views on the waterfront. The sun dried tomato herb butter is to die for! Excellent house dressing over generic green salad and awesome creamy clam chowder. My son’s kids meal fish dinner was excellent. Very good fish entrees. We’ll definately go there again on our next trip to San Diego. Certainly the best meal of our vacation
C-Level has great food deals and happy hour. Enjoy the view through huge windows or from the lovely patio. The food is well priced for what you get, the salads and the lobster mac are great. They once served the best burger in San Diego. However, the last time I went they refused to cook it below medium well and it was terrible. I hope this was just a fluke, because otherwise I’m going to have to go on a serious search to find a new burger spot!Pros + View, Food, ValueCons – They may insist on overcooking your burger
They have great happy hour specials, but if you are in the mood to spend just a little more, I would try to get a seat by the patio area, overlooking the ocean. Get some of the appetizers, my favorites are the lobster bisque and the crusted brie. A couple of cocktails to relax by the beach front scenery. Sometimes the service is not the greatest, but I try not to let that bother me, after all I am having a drink by the beach. Kinda of thing that some of us are eager to! Then after the lovely sunset, you can enjoy a walk along the boardwalk all the way to the pier! We all need to enjoy life a little more…
So it’s not a fancy place, it serves burgers, fries, maybe a few sandwiches…….it does have a full bar though and that is not what the place is known for. What gives this place 5 stars is because if you are in San Diego, and it’s sunny, Lahaina is open and it’s bartenders are ready to get you drunk! It’s literally ON the beach, and has cheap drinks. It’s great for people watching and that 8am beer and egg sandwich if you are needing it. (And I have needed it.) If it’s sunny out don’t bother thinking you are going to get a table because you won’t – every other slacker in PB is already there! But if you want to drink in the sun, on a deck, this is the place to go! Not a fancy crowd like Tower 23, a little more casual which can be good and bad depending on what you feel like that day………but fun fun fun nevertheless………I’ve had some of my favorite day drinking here…………. And yes the bartenders and door guys know me buy name….that is how often I go. The only reason it
