Where is the Best Bloody Mary in Los Angeles, California?

Although the food is generally good once in a while it is off the mark. Their specialty soup has had undercooked vegetables and the breakfast ham is actually a type of spam. But otherwise a typical slightly anglicized mexican restaurant. I’m not saying it’s bad. The food is good. Just don’t expect Mexico style tacos or anything too exotic.Pros + NIce waiters, Off street parking, Full BarCons – Typical Mexican food

Went to this place for the first time over the weekend and it was awesome. I’ve always liked good drinks that are STRONG and this place delivers. The place is small and has regulars galore, so get there early if you plan on getting a seat. It’s standing room only as it gets later, and there’s a line outside Fridays and Saturdays. (Not sure about other nights). The drinks are not cheap, but they are worth the price! For once. There is not any food, except a tub of bar ‘snax’, and they only accept cash. The crowd inside is socialable and fun. The decor is great and theres a lot of things to look at. The bartenders are friendly and have tons of stories to share. Oh yeah, and also the bar is owner-operated so smoking here is allowed. That will probably turn off a lot of non-smokers, but as an ex-smoker I wasn’t bothered in the least. I miss this place already and am looking forward to going again.

I love this place. Although, in the evening, it seems like more of a bar than a restaurant. If you’re looking for a later evening quiet meal, this is not the place. Been for lunch, and dinner many times. The food has always been outstanding, although a little on the pricey side. I also have enjoyed the bar on many occasions. The staff is friendly, helpful, knowledgable and attentive. There is no attitude here. I like the mix of people. You’ve got some snooty SM and some crazy Venice and all different ages. It’s a diverse crowd and almost always an interesting night. The atmosphere is great..it’s like upscale beachy casual. Where else can you walk in off the beach in flip-flops and dine off of white linen? It can also be a very romantic place for dinner for two. There’s also seating for smokers. Just be warned, once night-time kicks in, the bar will pick up. That’s just the nature of the beast. Definitely a cool place. One of my all-time favorites.Pros + Great atmosph

The Abbey is a solid bar, great place for night time drinks and desserts, a place to meet your friends, a quality lunch–and is downright huge, too. Despite its material success, the Abbey has kind of grown too big for its neighborhood–it took over about 4 buildings in ten years. It used to be the great little coffee house around the corner, but there is so much of it that it’s hard to describe the Abbey in a word or two. Is it a giant bar with a patio, a restaurant with a coffee shop in the front and a velvet rope or what? Definitely bring your friends from out of town. The food, staff and service are good. Prices are pretty good for WeHo and there is so much space that there are places to get lost with your friends and enjoy a good time. There is no convenient nearby parking and WeHo tickets. As an Abbey patron for over ten years, I feel it has lost some of its mojo.

Unprofessional service and expensive. Rude waiters. We were very bad treated in this place. For sure our worse experience in one month vacation in the usa.
