Where is the Best Bloody Mary in Chicago, Illinois?
This place does have great specials – and I’ve been there more than a handful of times because of the proximity to where I live. However, I’ll note a few noticable drawbacks.1. They don’t give you back all of your change. For example, If your bill is $14.54 and you give them a twenty, they’ll bring you back $5.00. Is that even legal? I always tip damn well and I find this a bit insulting – I get to decide how much to tip someone, not the bar – so give me back all of my change. 2. The bartenders have been consistently SLOW and RUDE.3. Good luck getting a cab, especially if the guys at the door have drunk friends who need a ride home.My advice…there is better food and service at the new Stanley’s that opened where Tutto Orsi used to be – right down Racine one block.
Best Ohio State bar in Chicago. Everybody wears Scarlet and Gray and parties on game days. They even sell plastics OSU beer mugs and occasionally have OSU shot glasses they give away as well. Be prepared to stand though and yell a lot. Big Depaul bar otherwise, with $1 burgers on Weds, and 10-cent wings on Tues. Lots of TVs.
