I applied and was hired for a waiter position over a year ago. I was told their would be hours available. Dana the manager is the one who hired me. I was told I would be paid for training at something like 10$ per hour…It could have been a bit less, I am not certain. I trained for a almost a week totally an estimated 12 to 15 hours, broken down into about 4 hour long night shifts. After my final night of training, Dana, the manager who hired me, and handled payroll, as well as shift scheduling, informed me I would start the following week. She told me to call or show up on Monday evening to check if the schedule was made, and ready for me to work. Monday or Tuesday came around, after being brushed off a few times by other managers when I called in for Dana, who told me Dana was very busy but would definitely call me when she had it figured out…After this…She did call and told me I would have to wait a few weeks before she could fit me in the schedule because old waitstaff

Calling up and complaining will do nothing. 4. If you get irate and rude with the person at the door, you will not come in. Nobody cares if you?re a lawyer. Go ahead and take them to court. The bouncer won?t pay any of the money. This also applies to ?Do you know who I am??. Think of all the sh*t they take all night, plus being punched in the face routinely. 5. ID?s ? The doorguy doesn?t know you. He?s paid to hold you up and be 100% sure. If you don?t like it, go som
