Where is the Best Bloody Mary in Atlanta, Georgia?

Taking residence in newly revitalized 4th Ward is a recipe for greatness. And P’cheen is no exception. It’s hard to put P’cheen in one category. It’s equal parts pub, international restaurant, and art gallery. A good friend recommended that I come to P’Cheen for months. I finally made the journey there specifically to partake in their “All-You-Can-Eat Snow Crab” Wednesdays. Upon entering, I was intrigued by decor and faux finished walls with intricate pencil drawings throughout. Reservations are recommended for the crab night on Wednesdays, because it was packed. It took about 15-20 minutes to get seated, even with reservations. Once seated, we were ready for a lively drink to spark the night off right. We started with the featured specialty cocktails of a cosmopolitan and lemon drop martini. Suffice to say, we were underwhelmed by the bland concoction. I took a survey of the room, and saw most patrons with either wine or beer. A good enough sign if any that the bar game is

This Atlanta institution has been around for decades with its funky, tropical themed atmosphere on the massive indoor-esque patio. While greetings from talking parrots are not generally part of an Atlanta dining experience, it is certainly part of the charm of R. Thomas. Delicious vegan and vegetarian options such as veggie plates, or the heaping quinoa bowls covered in sauteed vegetables and sauces. The free range chicken wings are amazing, and they are grilled rather than deep fried. Open all hours of the day, R. Thomas also has a stout breakfast menu to please the late nighters and early risers.Pros + A great place to bring an out-of-townerCons – Worrying that a car might skid off the road

I used to be a big fan of this bar/restaurant and its patio. The food was good for bar food and the drinks were always cold – but honestly its the patio and the soccer events that everyone’s after. But after a recent outing there I’ve decided never to go back. I was enjoying drinks and a meal at a table with some friends and our food had just come out. There was a small crowd of people standing up drinking by our table who kept putting out their cigarettes in the ashtray in front of our plates as we were eating and leaving their trash next to our food on the table – basically using our table as their dumping ground. We asked them to stop several times and explained to them that normally it wouldn’t be a big deal but we were trying to eat and one among the group said strangley “are you serious?” in a mocking fashion. Come to find out it was the management. Nice one. I’ll have to look for another patio this summer because I can’t in good conscience go back after being treated tha

This place has a so so Brunch. The menu is over priced. We went today early to get ahead of the crowd at 10 AM and did reservations. They open at 10 AM on Sunday. The place was empty. The reason is that alcohol is not served until after noon. That means you can avoid all the drunks by going before noon. We had a good server but the coffee was not hot or fresh. The orange juice was very pulpy and sour. We did in fact tell the manager when they came to the table to check on our visit. They seem to be interested and apologized. The food came out fast enough which was like ten minutes. It was luke warm but not hot. The biscuits were cold like they had been made the day before so that was not good. I was not impressed. I like the parent company who has several local places in the area but really this place is not great. It is run of the mill and really has lost the edge. The staff seems alright and the hostes was nice. The place is just not energetic and the staff seems stuck in a funk. I r

I was invited to eat at Quattro with a friend and found the experience to be top notch. The atmosphere is great…located right on the edge of Piedmont Park. I hate going to a restaurant and sitting on a patio with no view and no people. Quattro is just the opposite. You’re right on the corner of the park in midtown, so you have dozens of people walking by. In a city of beautiful people, it’s great to sit and watch everybody go by as you enjoy your meal. I highly recommend the patata fritti (sweet potato chips with a gorgonzola sauce) the flavor combination is awesome. Their hummus is great, and actually could be an entree if you’re just looking to eat something light and quick. Their paninis and pizzas are the best in town!! I worked in a restaurant that made paninis and pizzas (who happens to be local competition for Quattro) and I have to admit I enjoy the food at Quattro much more. The flavors are much more suitable to an adults palette, and the foods rival the best of th
