First, let me mention that I am a spa connoisseur…I LOVE the spa, and I frequent spas all the time. My husband loves to get me spa packages for special occassions like Valentine’s Day gifts, Christmas gifts, etc., so he bought me a spa package for the Woodhouse Day Spa, as we frequent the Shops at Legacy and we’d seen it previously. My day began with a Volcanic Hot Stone 90 minute massage and it was pretty good; the massage therapist was a little slow in understanding that I don’t like hard pressure on my legs and arms, but I do like hard pressure on my back and neck…she seemed intent on using hard pressure all over even after I told her to ease up a little. I then had a light lunch of a chicken salad which was mostly lettuce, hardly any chicken, and then moved on to my facial. I’m not really sure what the esthetician was supposed to be doing, but while waiting for my face mask to harden, she just sat behind me and breathed on me instead of massaging hands, feet, or scalp like

I am a massage therapist, and have been to many spas looking for the level of service and relaxation that I want to provide to my own clients. I have finally found it!! Pure provides an awesome waterhouse, great for relaxing and letting all the worries of life fade away quickly. I had a facial with Paula and she was absolutely amazing. I have never had a better facial at any other Spa that I’ve been to. I had a wonderful massage and body scrub…there’s even a shower within the room…Who could ask for more? After done with my services, I was escorted to the unique waterhouse, and enjoyed a dip in their huge, 10-person sauna. They even have a steamroom to help sweat away extra toxins released during the massage. I was given an option of hot tea, lemonade, or a glass of wine. I felt like a queen, and the service was definitely better than I have seen in a really long time. I would definitely go back. I did read the review below, and I MUST comment on it! I am a licensed mass

My husband bought me a gift certificate here for our anniversary. This time very proudly announcing he picked Sedona because they were the “Best Massage in Dallas and have special newfangled Saunas.” Not sure how your man is, but mine is a notorious last minute gifter so I pretty much get a gift certificate for some sort of spa treatment for every bday, mother’s day, etc. and I’ve never requested he re-buy at a certain spa because I’ve always felt there was still something better and wanted to keep trying until I found it. Well now for the 1st time, I have instructed him that this Mother’s Day my ?surprise? gift certificate MUST be from Sedona because everything about my experience there was so wonderful.Their reception staff was adorable and helpful and on the phone, staying on the line w/me until I found the parking garage, then even more adorable in person. As soon as I walked in, everyone was all smiles and I was pleasantly surprised when the owner came out to greet me, war

My husband and I were there a few weeks ago for a couple’s massage. The old home is very nice, we love old homes. But the massages were pretty weak. The therapists did not ask us about our preferences, the one therapist conferred with my husband about his massage, but the one working on me didn’t barely say anything to me. They never checked with either of us about whether pressure was good or not, and both the massages were very weak. Neither my husband nor I wants super pressure, but some would be great. It was advertised as hot stone, but they only used 3 hot stones on each of us. It was WAY overpriced, we would go to a massage school and probably get a better massage.
