Where is the Best Biker Bar in San Francisco, California?
I have been in the Castro Area of San Francisco for three years and I have went to many bars around the country. The Edge offers great drinks for a great price and if your lucky enough to catch Scotty Boo in one of his moods, you get a fabulous display of attention! This is one of those places that I used to avoid, mainy because of the cleanliness, but this has changed in recent history. Happy Hours are great, but if you want individual attention, I suggest going in on one of the off-nights. Tuesdays are happening, but the weekends offer great opportunities as well.Pros + The bartenders are the hottest in the Castro and the drinks can make you weep!Cons – It used to smell really bad, but the current management obviously cleaned it up!
Me and my friends LOVED this place!!! I have met 3 bartenders and they were all hot, and can be really nice if you dont give them any s#it. The jukebox is one of the best I have ever seen. From Wu-Tang and Nas to Dead Boys and Hall n Oats. Hand picked by the staff. Great music, cheap drinks, and hot punk bartenders. What more could you ask for???Pros + nice/cute bartenders good music cheap STRONG drinksCons – no parking in the lower haight
Kilowatt’s resisted the gentrification sweeping the Mission and stayed what it’s always been: a great neighborhood bar. You get a wide range of brews (including some microbrews), a jukebox and great happy hour deals. A bunch of yahoos slumming it in the Mission fill the place on weekend nights, but on weekdays, it’s filled with regulars. Perfect for an after-work drink. Plus, it’s a cheesehead bar (go Packers!).
