I’ve been going to the Swallows Inn for 30 years and recommend everyone visit at least once. Yes it is a “cash only” establishment, so be prepared if you want to drink or have something to eat (NOTE: food not available at all times of the day). Tuesday night karaoke is fun even if you don’t sing; $1.50 delicious tacos available! Saturday afternoons really “rock” (the band is usually rock or blues); evening bands Thursday through Saturday are Country/Western. You never know what awaits you when you walk in. Could be just a bunch of beer swilling locals hanging on to the bar, or it could be a… couple of off duty strippers performing an impromptu strip tease, or a first time female patron performing her “mandatory” (if she decides to play along) hanging of the bra ritual.
