Where is the Best Barber in Seattle, Washington?
(cue Edda James singing “At Last”) (lol) I finally found the perfect place for me!My hair is naturally curly but I wear it smoothed out often. I’ve been in Seattle since March of 09 but have had nothing but mistakes, bad cuts and mediocre color with each place I tried. Someone at work recommended I try Lisa’s Salon out after seeing me have one too many bad hair days.From the moment Lisa’s receptionist answered my neurotic call – My hair troubles in Seattle have been over! It’s obvious that all that work there LOVE what they do – and even though my appointment was at the end of a day – they had just as much enthusiasm as if I was their first client. The consultation was super fun — super thorough – and gave me the confidence I needed to have to know that I was in good hands. My cut is THE BEST CUT I’ve had in years — literally! Around 1993 I wandered into a small barber shop on twenty-fourth in the Ballard area of Seattle. As a man in my late 40?s I had reservations about getting my hair cut after walking inside the small shop. The clientele were young men/teenagers and the barber was not much older. There was graffiti art on all the walls and the music was loud and it appeared the party was on. But, as I sat and observed each customer explain specifics about how they wanted their hair cut and the barber took the time to listen and cut their hair to the customer specifications. When it was my turn to have my hair cut the young man whom I later come to know as Thaddius Valentine understood the value of doing a good job and providing great customer service. My haircut was perfect and I received numerous compliments from friends and coworkers. I returned many times over the next few years and referred friends who were extremely satisfied as well.
