Where is the Best Barber in San Francisco, California?
I have been coming to the Barber Lounge for a long time. I have gotten amazing services from Try, Zeon, Greg, hoang, liz, jc, oscar, and lenida. Plus Louie the Dog is super cute. I love the atmosphere. It is a welcoming, unpretentious place. The front desk crew is very kind and helpful. Plus they serve free beer and wine. Pros + Down to earth, fun, professional artists!
Recently moved to SF for husband’s job…one of my biggest fears was ‘my hair’!!!! No aquaintances here so I had to search online. Besides good reviews, Edward’s stood out for 2 reasons…interactive website (you can book your appointments online), and, most importantly, Edward’s personal interaction! I e-mailed to ask question and he e-mailed back immediately wanting to know all my hair needs and welcoming me SF…after several e-mails about my hair, etc., he set me up with Roxanne. She is awesome! This is the best haircut I think I have ever had…it looks great blown out or dried naturally…she is great with bangs too! After a month, my color stills looks like it was just done… the color product is wonderful…my hair has never looked shinier, thicker, or healthier! Salon atmosphere relaxing and unintimidating…great products. Again, look no further, Roxanne is masterful.Pros + Good Parking, Relaxing Atmosphere, Great Products
I went to see Jennifer back in April for my final haircut before I re-located to New York. My hair is very short and cropped and Jennifer always makes it look feminine, well textured, and fresh. She knows that since my hair grows quickly, the texture is thick, and that it’s SHORT, it should only be cut with a razor. SHE IS AMAZING WITH HER RAZOR!! I promise you, every time she cut my hair I never left a haircut feeling anxious to “grow into the cut”, hating how they styled it, wishing they took more or less off, OR WORST OF ALL, LOOKING LIKE A BOY! It’s been almost 2 months since my fantastic last hair cut with Jennifer and I know I’ll have to find someone else to cut my hair here in New York very soon. This new stylist will have a lot to live up to. I also want to add that this is also the first time that I’m enjoying the grow out of my hair. It doesn’t look as if the cut is in an “awkward grow-out stage” AT ALL!! Aside from her great talent and skill, she has an extremely pleasant
Sal’s the man! a real barbershop and good quality cuts from a master barber for only $25. we’re talking a warm towel and a shave with a straight edge razor. we’re talkin old school buddy. and you can schedule your appointments online without having to call. I am so grateful to a friend who suggested that I go to Thomas at the Chakra Salon for a haircut while I was visiting in Marin County. What a marvelous experience!! My hair is very curly and white – each of which equals unruly! I was unable to control it – much less style it. Thomas was engaging – delightfully friendly, professional to the core, and amazingly gifted with shears – a true stylist in every sense of the word! Enough time has elapsed since Thomas cut and styled my hair that I have found that my hair has grown in such a way that I can still “deal” with it – for the first time in my life!! 🙂 I hope to be able to fly to San Francisco to make an appointment with Thomas for my next haircut and to be encouraged by his warm, caring, friendly manner. He is a well versed, intelligent person whose conversations are provocative. A real winner!! Be sure to go to Thomas at Chakra if you want a superior hair cut, a beautifully flattering style that is easily manageable aft
