N.B.: HairM occasionally has promotions in which they reward customers who post favorable reviews. Without passing judgment, I just want to make clear that I am not being compensated or rewarded in any way for this review. There are already 280 reviews of this place as I write this, so I’ll keep it brief. The fact is that HairM provides a really nice experience for their customers and they do so at an extraordinary price. I grew up in L.A., where you can get a facial, scalp massage, neck rub, and glass of wine with your haircut–if you pay hundreds of dollars for it. At HairM, those are standard parts of the King’s Cut, which costs under $50. It’s more expensive than Rudy’s or Bishop’s, but you get a genuinely relaxing experience that you can really look forward to. Pros + Great experience, great priceCons – May take time to find a stylist you click with

The only place I will go to in the northwest…! I absolutely trust Josh’s judgment and his knowledge. Kind, gentle and fun – he listens to your ‘wants’ and ‘concerns’ while offering suggestions. This man has a lot of talent – he knows what he is talking about and doing. Believe me – he knows color and how to work with all types of hair. I’ve been to my share of salon’s where I’m treated like a $… Stacking up clients while my color is processing, interrupting a cut to trim someone’s bangs, or yacking on the phone while styling my hair. No concern about my time or me or their work. You won’t find this at Dezi, you won’t find this while in Josh’s care. In addition to Josh’s talent and care as a hair stylist – they have the best operation’s manager you’ll ever meet. Dan is exceptional… The salon is run well, always clean, decorated tastefully, and again, Dan will take care of you and make you feel very special.I realize this review sounds like a sales pitch – well…

I never write reviews but I was surprised that no one has ever written a review mentioning Man so I decided to write one now..I’ve been coming to Poshe Salon since they have opened(almost 5 years now) and Man (pronounced mON) was the very first person I was scheduled with and eversince then.. I never tried anyone else. I get everything done by Man; nails and waxing (eyebrows, underarms, bikini.. the whole shabang). Let me tell you.. it is HARD finding the right place to get nails/waxing done. I’m asian so my eyebrows grow differently than others and if you don’t have the right experience with waxing asian eyebrows then it turns out pretty bad. The nails ALWAYS turn outs out great, most of the time I see people who get their nails done at other places.. turn out to look tacky.Besides having nails/waxing done by Man, I come to Tony for hair cuts/bang trims. He’s really nice and does a pretty good job. It’s hard for me to trust people with my hair.. (I usually get my hair done in Cal

A couple months ago I got a bad haircut. Very bad. I’ve been doing my best to wear it up in a ponytail all the time and not be too depressed about it, even though I was. I was hoping to let it grow out since the cut was much shorter than it should have been, and it looked awful. Yesterday I’d had enough and decided that even if it took drastic measures such as dying all my hair blue I would change my hair and not feel so bad about it. Luckily, drastic measures were not needed. I randomly called Barberama because I remember going there to get some braiding done a few years ago. Lucky for me Charles answered the phone and after chatting about the hair issue he said it would be best to come in sometime so he could figure out what would be best to do.I hopped in my car, headed over to the shop, and let Charles work his magic. He put some beautiful colors in and did it in just the right way, not too flashy, but definitely there to be seen, and even managed to give me an amazing cut that

I’ve had my hair cut at salons before but they always asked what I wanted done, I always said to just do it the way it is but shorter. This time I decided I would ask for recommendations. I did my due diligence and decided to go to Defining Image. I asked Ellery what he thought and he gave me his recommendations as far as the cut. I then asked him about coloring the grey. I’ve never done this before and was hesitant. He put me at ease.Watching Ellery cut my hair, I could tell immediately I was in the hands of a master. Not just the wham bam kind of cuts I usually get. He’s also a woodworking (as am I) and I suspect that accounts for his meticulous nature. The haircut is the best I’ve ever gotten! Why didn’t I know about this when I was younger and had all my hair? Then it came time for the color. His apprentice (I can’t remember his name – sorry!) did the coloring. I was nervous but just went with it, telling myself “it’s only hair.” When we were done and it really didn’t take very
