Where is the Best Barber in Houston, Texas?
I went to Sugar Land for my daughter wedding and we booked a spa package for her. We wanted her to have a relaxing time so we decided to visit the place before her scheduled appointment. I felt in love with their spacious and beautiful couples massage room so I asked if I can join her for the massage part of her package. Her package included facials, massage, manicure and pedicure. The receptionist was very warm and attended to us right away. I was offered a drink menu and I asked for a mimosa. I waited in the lobby, a very comfortable and quiet one, looking through some magazines whilst she was having her facials. I have received few massages but this is definitely the best one. One of the therapist offered to take pictures of us with our camera, very thougthful indeed.
I have just logged on to write a review on Cut Loose and I can’t believe someone would write such a distasteful review as the one I just read. A rather awful portrayal of the salon along with her rather ambitious screen name has compelled me to respond, I have found the receptionist there to be nothing but the best. She has always greeted me with a smile whether in person or over the phone. It’s sad to see that some consumers choose to leave such a big carbon footprint in the world and expect others to follow suit. Common sense would surely conclude that the reason why the receptionist asked if she would like a bag or not, is not because she was rude or lazy, but because she is doing her part to make this world a little cleaner…..most people would rather not see another bag added to the ever increasing land fills dotted around the City. If you have hair like mine (it can’t decide if it wants to be a fro or straight), then you know how hard it is to find a decent hair cut. Raymond’s is the best barbershop in Houston hands down. Raymond’s scores an 11 on a ten-point scale. Metros be warned; you should not go there expecting a shampoo girl and frappucino. But, for only eight bucks Mr. Raymond or Carl will hook you up with a nice clean cut that is worth every bit of the up-to-an-hour wait. Feel free to use the $10 – $50+ you just saved to get your frappucino at Treasures.
Okay, so I have to start this story from the beginning. Just before Halloween I used a temporary dye (from Walgreens) to dye my hair red. This dye was only supposed to last a month. Over 2 months later, my hair was stained red. At this point I realized that my hair was not going to return to its original color, and I would either have to let it grow out, or dye it again. I needed someone to fix my hair. I currently live in Austin, TX, as I am still in college. However, I did not trust any of my hair stylists in Austin to be able to fix my hair. The only person who I trusted was my hair stylist back in Houston, Maria. I waited until the Christmas holiday to get my hair colored and restyled. By the time that Christmas holidays rolled around, I decided that I wanted to try a short hair style (very different from what I had before). I was confident that Maria could transform my mid-back length hair into a style that fell just past my ears. Maria was able to fit my hair color
It was recommended to me to use Aqua Salon for my wedding day. Maria was the one who styled my hair for the bridal portraits and wedding day. Tony (owner) was very good in making sure that everything was done right and I didn’t have to worry about a thing. Maria was very patient with me in figuring out what style I liked best. My hair turned out perfect and exactly what I wanted for both events. I’m very picky with my hair and searched around to find someone I liked. On the wedding day, Tony and Maria traveled to our location and were very supportive to each bridesmaid and both mothers who all got their hair styled. Each person loved their hair and were very happy with the style. I would definitely recommend Tony and Maria and anyone at Aqua Salon. They are so gracious and I am now going there for all future haircuts and styles. They were all so nice in the salon and helped me make all the appointments.
