Where is the Best Barber in Austin, Texas?
I went yesterday with my boyfriend for him to get a haircut. It was quite busy when we got there, so were not surprised at the 40 min wait. The place seems really neat and relaxed. I will say,we did wait longer than the 40 mins we were advised. At one point while there were chairs full of people the stylist took smoke breaks and even just stood around talked to one another. Once he finally got his turn for his cut, he showed the guy a picture of what he wanted. The stylist was very honest and realistic about being able to do that cut on his hair. After he was done, he gave my man a great hair cut that was very trendy and user friendly. I advised him to keep going, but to call ahead to put his name on the list.Pros + Great Stylist!Cons – Long Wait!
I have seen Dr. Rasmussen twice, and he has recommended and prescribed me different topical solutions. He is caring and understanding. Although people may think he is always in a rush or like he does not care, I ASSURE you he is just the opposite. His ultimate goal is to make sure his patients are happy with their skin their in! Melissa Garcia, Medical Aesthetician, has performed a few treatments on my face. The first time I went in, I was an emotional wreck from my acne. Melissa stopped during the treatment to COMFORT me and gave me inspirational words to make me a stronger. I now request her every time I go in for an appt! She cares about her patients, and makes sure she leaves them with amazing results! I highly recommend eOs Dermatology & Med Spa. I promise you will not regret it, and you will become a NEW YOU! -MelindaPros + Friendly & welcoming environment; great hours
I followed Melissa as her client from her previous salon. She has been the MOST wonderful stylist and colorist I have ever had. I get comments and questions weekly about my cut and color. She makes me look and feel younger, and I’m truly comfortable with my hair. Every time I’ve asked for a change, she encourages me, and helps me find just what I’m looking for. She knows my preferences, but what’s more, she knows me. She remembers what we talk about, asks about my family, etc. and keeps up with my life. It’s a rare thing, but after years of going to Melissa, she probably knows me better than most of my friends. I LOVE MELISSA!The rest of the staff are awesome too! They always know my name, are friendly and helpful. And I love getting my hair washed! They massage my neck and head…OMG! I’d go there just for that! Always amazing!Bottom line, if you want to feel pampered, cared for, remembered and special, you need Salon Ciao Bella.LOVE YOU GALS!Pros + Relaxing and positive atmosph
I experienced El Rey after receiving a gift certificate for my birthday a couple of months ago. I can honestly say this place is easily the best barber, club, and salon under one roof in town, if not Texas.I had previous experiences with other barbers, clubs, and day spas and often left feeling oversold and under served in an environment that was designed and marketed towards women. El Rey is exclusively for the man’s man that happens to appreciate the modern day pampering and therapies in an old world setting. Poker and Martini’s in the club. A barber room with LCD TV’s and satellite radio and thermostat set to my preferences. Massage oils and aromatherapy uniquely designed for men, not my wife. Facial and nail treatments that target men’s issues. Great product knowledge from a staff that was not constantly trying to cram stuff I did not need down my throat. A consultation regarding what therapeutic benefits I wanted and needed, uniquely tailored to me. And the staff is so attent
The best manicurist in town is now at Frenchy’s! Jeanna has moved to Frenchy’s and what a great move it was! The ambiance is fabulous, she has her own space in the salon, her equipment and tools are her own and you never need worry about catching something from those ugly, shared foot sinks again.I went in for a manicure/pedicure at 6 pm on a Friday night and was pampered. Jeanna is using a new foot bath with liners and it is clean, clean, clean! My poor tootsies were soaked in a delightful soup of dried flowers and herbs and exquisitely oil-scented water. My feet were pampered with a turbinado sugar scrub and my nails were trimmed and filed carefully.I was having a painful arthritis flare, and Jeanna treated my hands and feet gently and professionally. My nails look beautiful. Jeanna uses top of the line products, and her knowledge of the industry is extensive. Her integrity for what she does is unmatched. Her personality is fresh, the conversation funny, and the experie
