Where is the Best Barber in Austin, Texas?
I was just at the salon for a wedding I was a attending for my cousin. The bride, her mother, mother of the groom, other cousins, maid of honor, matron of honor, bridesmaids and other family members were all here. There was whispering among us, bad past history, crys of sadness, crying of joy and the salon actually helped us keep an even keel. They were very zen if you would say. I felt tacky for the way I was acting and they created a very safe environment for me. They listened and then gave support and love for us all. Very strange experience for me. Not gossipy or belittleing. Just reminding us that family is all we have …….for better or worse. Forgive and comfort. Well, there was one typical stylist telling us of her drama and problems with boys. All about her, while she coughed up a lung. Well everyone did excellent bridal hair. I mean excellent. We had fits and bad comments about each other and the salon swooped in and got involved and “fixed” our issues. The
Great haircut. Took their time to do it right (which I love, I don’t really care how long it takes if it looks great, may turn some off). Girlfriend loves it.Also a nice, personable atmosphere. I live in Pasadena, CA and spend 8 to 10 months on the road per year driving from State to State and city to city as an Automotive Marketing Specialist Producer. I have an addiction to Barbershops Shaves. Up to now I have been to all but 6 states and have found the best Barbershop thus far. BELVEDERES. After the shave my face was so smooth you would think I’ve never grown any facial hair and have never put a razor to my skin before, no razor burn and I look great!I spend one week out of every 5 in Austin to see my girlfriend and now the best Barbershop too. I look very young for my age to begin with, so to have the first words out of my girl’s mouth be ” You Look 10 Years Younger, What Did They Do To You!!” means a lot.I’m 37 and get carded every where I go, now I don’t look old enough to drive. I recently treated my mother to a haircut/conditioning treatment at Max Fx for her birthday. I was very excited about the day because she never gets the opportunity to go anywhere nice to be pampered. However, upon arriving, my proud smile quickly faded and turned to embarrasment when, while standing at the counter waiting to be acknowledged, I was completely ignored for at least a full minute by not one, but three people. For the amound of money I was spending on my tight budget I had hoped and expected for much better sercive, (and respect). Fortunately, thanks to Amanda, my mothers birthday experience was salvaged by friendly service, a beautiful haircut and a wonderful pampering treatment at the shampoo bowl. I received a great cut from Juan to, who was also very friendly and professional. Thank you Amanda and Juan.
