Where is the Best Barbecue Food in Tampa, Florida?
i wondered when the new road construction plowed through land o’lakes a few years back whether harry would survive. me, driving around traffic cones and construction workers with flags, and watching his front door practically end up on the sidewalk, i had hoped during this time, besides me, he had enough devotees (‘hungry’ customers) to give him the confidence to wait out the turmoil he and his land o’lakes employees surely saw as potential disaster for the LOL business. they hung in there. they surely did. thank you harry and staff for that. love your chicken, love your sides, love the quick service. i’ll call on friday (as always) for a carry out. I love it down here but miss the dozens of bbq restaurants in NC – the best one being in the state legislature cafeteria. I’ve had Butler’s in and take out. It is different for some reason. It is some of the best if you get it in a bucket for a dozen or so people for a picnic, but the few times I’ve been there it is greasy and has skin in the meat. Maybe it is a coincidence, but I like it lean. It’s cheap, but I’d pay twice the price for what I’m used to.They have got the NC style down, and if you don’t mind grease – have lunch.
