Try the cajun chicken sandwich–it’s the best in the world! even better than other Famous Daves places. I can’t get enough of it! I also recommend the drunkin apples. yum!Pros + best cajun chicken!, friendly service, quickly seated/servedCons – crowded, loud

With the inlaws coming into town from North Dakota, we thought of “famous Dave’s” and it was wonderful. The dinner for two atop a trashcan lid was a hit with us all. The ribs were wonderful and the sauce is hard to beat. Would like to hear more live music during dinner.

I’m slowly working my way down the MSP St. Paul magazine winners top 10 list. I’m having a hard time believing the #1 winner (Redstone)…that place looks a little too polished for a “real BBQ” place, but my review of them will be coming…On to Baker’s…Great job decorating. I felt like I was back home in a real BBQ spot. The meat was good. I had the ribs and brisket. The sides were…OK which probably brought down my overall experience but not enough to make TOO much of a difference. I’d recommend picking up their ribs or brisket for takeout and maybe doing your sides at home. Overall it’s one of the better places in the Twin Cities for good, REAL Texas Style BBQ ribs & brisket. On a side note, the guys there are really helpful and nice.

I have been to KC, Texas, and all over the South and Rooster’s is right up there with any of them. As a matter of fact I prefer them over Corky’s ribs in Memphis. The best thing on the menu is a BBQ sandwich Memphis style with cole slaw right on the sandwich and served with fries. The place is right off of 35E on Randolph and is a hole-in-wall but when you get out of the car you know it was worth the trip. They have just two booths so I recommend take out. And before I forget they have good fried chicken too.Pros + inexpensive, owner operatedCons – small

Ok, let’s not mince words here. The service sucks, the prices are a bit high, they run out of beer, but the food is worth killing for! I am not a rib fan, but I can’t stop coming back here time and time again for the baby backs and the cole slaw! Both are better then Famous Dave’s and Market Barbeque! Take a chance and sit the through the rest of the hassel, and just enjoy the food! Oh, and don’t let the name fool you, this place has nothing to do with the irish! Ribs baby, it’s all about the ribs!
