Where is the Best Barbecue Food in Milwaukee, Wisconsin?
Butch’s Old Casino Steakhouse is more than a great restaurant, it is a dining experience. The small, former disco reminds me of a Grandparent’s mid-70’s den- complete with fireplace and thick-pile carpet. I loved the old-fashioned relish tray and bread basket. The martini was good and the service was even better. Every Butch’s employee we spoke to was warm and friendly. The shrimp scampi is unbelievable and especially perfect paired with the 6 oz. Steer Filet. My fiance had the lamb chops which were also perfectly cooked and delicious. One mention to the hostess that is was my birthday, and we were served the most wonderful slice of homemade cheesecake (made by Butch’s wife) complete with strawberries and a candle. I cannot think of a negative comment about my experince at Butch’s. I would recommend it to all of my friends… and then go along with them when they try it.
