We heard of the wonderful baby back ribs at the Oxford Inn and had to try them for ourselves. The Oxford Inn has a pub-like atmosphere with a full bar and fireplace. We started off with bread and salad. The bread seemed freshly baked and the salad was crisp. However, the salads were served in oversized, metal bowls. It seemed quite odd. Why they werent on regular salad plates is a mystery. Of course, we were there for the ribs. And they did not disappoint. The baby back ribs were lean, tender, and meaty. The sauce was sweet but not spicy. The sauce was partially baked on the ribs, which seemed fresh out of the oven. A variety of potatoes were offered with the meal; the two we tried were good. No hot towels for our messy fingers were provided, but we did get towelettes.Pros + Ribs, Fresh BreadCons – Odd Salad Bowls

RIBS: Ribs come as spare ribs (large, with a mild rub) and baby back ribs, which are smaller and have a spicier rub. Pulled pork comes with a splash of Rich and Sassy sauce, and is heaped on a piece of Texas Toast which makes it easy to eat as an open faced sandwich is you like. SIDES: Sides are many and we ordered baked beans and corn on the

While they have a full menu, I go for the pizza, salad bar and a cold beer. The waitresses are always on their game and friendly. (I really appreciate the way they cater to my grandkids!) The only improvement I could suggest would be to the salad bar: Instead of mixing the different types of lettuce, put iceberg in one bowl, the ‘weeds’ in another bowl.
