Where is the Best Barbecue Food in Dallas, Texas?
THIS WAS MY FIRST TIME TO DALLAS AND I ACCIDENTLY FOUND D’S LAST RESORT WHILE I WAS LOOKING FOR TGI FRIDAYS. MY FRIEND HAD TOLD ME ABOUT IT BUT I DIDNT KNOW IF I WAS GOING TO BE ABLE TO FIND IT ON MY OWN. BUT I DID AND I’M GLAD. ME AND MY TWO BEST FRIENDS CAME TO DALLAS FOR A GIRLS BIRTHDAY GETAWAY WEEKEND. THE SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT IT WAS A CASUAL FUN ATMOSPHERE. OUR WAITRESS WAS GREAT SHE ASKED WHERE WE WERE FROM AND EVEN INTRODUCED US TO ANOTHER GROUP THAT WAS VISITING FROM THE SAME STATE WE’RE FROM. SHE ALSO HELPED US SEARCH FOR NIGHT CLUBS IN THE AREA SINCE WE WEREN’T FROM THERE. WE ORDERED DRINKS AND THEY ARRIVED WITHIN MINUTES OF US ORDERING THEM. THE MENU DIDNT HAVE MANY SELECTIONS BUT WHAT DID CATCH MY EYE WAS ON THE APPITIZER MENU. IT WAS THE CRAB SPHERES. OH MY GOSH THEY WERE SO DELICIOUS. AFTER ORDERING OUR MEAL IT TOOK APPROX. 10 MINUTES FROM THE TIME WE ORDER FOR US TO GET OUR MEAL. EVERYTHING WE ORDERED WAS HOT AND DELICIOUS. WHEN IT WAS TIME FOR US TO GO WE ASKED FOR
Very tasty. Was at a show at DWF airport for a week. It was nice to rent a car and get out. I found this place on the “top 10 bbq” site. My co-worker and I ordered too much food but wanted to try different things. The onion ring batter was great! Pulled pork and their home made bbq sauce…. yum yum. I had to take the rest home with me. Bought some zip bags at the CVS down the street and packed the leftovers in my suite case. It made it just fine.
We go for the ribs. Oh, I know, there are other choices on the menu; but, we go for the ribs. And here’s the rub. Two times out of three they’re smoky, meaty, and plentiful. But that third time can be a real bummer. Not much flavor, much more bone than meat, and not enough to satisfy a ten-year-old. When they straighten this out, I’d rate the food excellent (the beef is good, the poultry very tasty, and the veggies are way better than adequate) and the value waaay above average… By the way, you can’t eat just one roll. It’s tough enough to eat them with butter, but when you dip them into the meat sauce, look out waistline.
