Where is the Best Barbecue Food in Cleveland, Ohio?
You could probably eat at Mongolian Barbeque every day for the rest of your life, and never eat the same thing twice! No exaggeration, either. The whole experience, from putting all your ingredients together from several meat choices, a wide range of “fillers” (veggies, pasta, tofu cubes), and a huge selection of “sauces” (flavored oils, wine, lemon juice, etc.) and spices (from the tame to the quite spicy), to watching the grillers cook your food, is LOT of fun! Hints to new MBBQers: Use more than two ladles of “sauce”…anything less than three and you’re taking a chance of your meal being a bit dry. Also, ask for drink and/or tortilla and rice refills before you actually need them…service can sometimes be a bit slow.
I came from out of town and went there to eat and the chicken is really good. I have not tried anything else. The women bathroom was out of order, there is no menu in visible view, you have too pick up a piece of paper. The customer service was horrible. We went through the drive thru and waited 15 min. for our food to be brought out. She came to one of our cars and said here’s your food and not say what the order was. There were 2 items missing of the order and her attitude was so funky as if she didn’t want to be there. I got out the car because it was taking so long and as I was going in she came out with bags and I asked her was this our food and she said “I don’t know what car you are in and with a nasty attitude”. I told her she needs to get another job that is not in customer service. It’s not the cleanest inside which is why I don’t go in but the food that I’ve had so far was good. The service that is given to the public reflects the owners/managers of HSW.Pros + Good
I came down on a Tuesday night to see a Big Band play and I was amazed at the crowd that came out for a weeknight! It was a diverse crowd, a cozy venue and the music–band, acoustics–was great. We danced to many of the songs although space was tight–at some times during the evening people danced outside, and eventually some of the tables were moved to allow for more dancing space. The dance floor that was available was of good quality, but most of it was taken up by the band although this was likely a special case since the band was a 19-piece! Despite the lack of room people got so energized by the music that people found a way to dance, especially to the more popular songs. Pros + great music, friendly peopleCons – limited space, crowded
The sauce on these ribs is DELICIOUS! The ribs were meaty and tender and their wings are good also. We had a nice relaxing meal, the waitresses were not pushy and the atmosphere was nice. The ribs were served with garlic bread {half cheddar, half mozzarella} – Fabulous! If you like spicy stuff try their Cajun Fries too-they are a great accompaniment to the ribs. Don’t pass this one up-it was a very pleasant meal!!!
