Where is the Best Barbecue Food in Cleveland, Ohio?
wonderful atmosphere, very friendly staff, and the food is terrific! (recommend the sampler platter for first tme visit, and i’ll give ten to one odds you can’t finish it). You have to try this place, but be prepared for a half hour plus wait for your table. This place is legendary, I’m surprised that there are no reviews yet! Been around for years, I like my burgers well done, they are one of the frew places that can do that but still have the burger be juicy. everything I’ve had there has been great, no problems. It can get crowded and the tables are close together, but it’s worth it. This place knows what it’s doing, and after you eat you get to walk around a beautiful town!Pros + great food, great value
In search of the best salad…This salad is monster-huge! Sporting a generous portion of crispy chicken tender nuggets soaked with a buffalo-flavored hot sauce that will gradually heat your mouth to a nice simmer. A pile of mixed lettuce is graced with diced tomatoes, celery and a covering of shredded cheddar cheese all served in what has to be a serving bowl. Blue cheese dressing comes served on the side, but my recommendation is to substitute either the creamy parmesan or the laflora Italian, depending on your taste preference. Whatever you do, come hungry. This salad should fill even the heartiest of appetites.
I have been a frequent diner at this restaurant since it opened and can honestly say that I have NEVER had a bad meal. Although I agree with other reviewers that the menu seems limited-whatever I finally decide on does not disappoint. The restaurant is beautiful but I get annoyed that the staff doesn’t wear name tags-I don’t always remember the name and enjoy addressing and thanking someone by name.Here’s what I have to say-AVOID lunch! I cannot for the life of me figure out why this place can’t seem to get a handle on lunch. The service is absolutely dismal at lunch even when the restaurant is empty-there always seems to be more employees than patrons. At best I can’t get my water filled or at worst I’m waiting 2 hours for my meal (no exaggeration)!On a positive note, dinner is 180 degrees the other way. food, service, atmosphere etc is ALWAYS top notch. The drink prices are high but they do serve Top shelf which is a plus. I don’t care for the Lobster Nachos but the Lobster
