Where is the Best Bar Scene in Charlotte, North Carolina?
OK, this is the one place that I hate to tell anyone that I love to go to. So it’s smokey, so the people there are country and nasty, so the bathrooms are smelly and nasty. I love this place and will tell nobody that I do. The bartenders are sweet girls and everytime I go in there, I say to myself, “not the rose again”, but everytime I leave there I say, “another crazy fun night at the rose”. No matter how much you don’t want to go in, it’s always a good time. Try it out and keep an open mind. You’ll have a great time, and hey, you might get lucky and meet me…hahahPros + Who’s that girl dancing on the table?…Cons – Who’s that guy throwing up in the corner?…
This club is a great place to go. Musics good but if you dont love all country music all the time then this club isnt for you. I must say though last time I went some of the locals werent to kind of someone other then white coming into the bar not saying they arent welcome but that is what I saw. Purple hooter shooters are awesome here and my husband liked the mixed drinks too. Club is often crowded and if your not a smoker believe me youll come out smelling like it so dont enter if you cant take the smoke. Otherwise have fun and party hard
This is one of my favorite bars in Charlotte. The food is not the greatest, but it is not bad. They have a wide selection of beers. They have everything from imports to Old Milwaukee and Schlitz in cans. The patio is the best part of the place. It is very large, and they have two ping pong tables. The place is packed on Friday and Saturday nights. The area can be kind of scary at night. Females should have someone escort them to their cars. You will see all kinds of people in this place. Young, old, rich, poor, they are all here. It is a great place to hang out and have fun with friends. Pros + Ping PongCons – Area is Scary at Night
It’s true, it’s a new day at Providence Road Sundries. The woman’s bathroom no longer has a Beatles collage on the walls (complete with beads and silk flowers at one point), and the “dining” side of the joint has gone through more changes than a pop star trying to revive a career by shaving her head and going into rehab. But folks – it’s still Sundries, good ole reliable chicken fried steak on Thursdays and some of the best chilli in town Sundries, even with the gozillion new TV screens and routine changeover of video games. Where else can you sit at the same booth where you dad sat (or your friend’s dad, or at least for sure SOMEBODY’S dad), order from a menu that feels like a part of your DNA, and look across the street at one of Charlotte’s oldest neighborhoods, whether for an hour or an afternoon with friends? Wait staff will go through changes, particularly when there’s a new owner in town, but the kids in place now are doing a great job of knowing folks when they come in the door
