Where is the Best Bar Menu in Dallas, Texas?
I met a date at Steel a couple of weeks ago, at her recommendation. It was my first visit and I was impressed. The restaurants decor is upscale and beautiful. I ordered the Shaken Beef, she had the Lemongrass Chicken and we shared an appetizer of the Sea Bass. All three were excellent, however I have to say that my Shaken Beef was the best of the three. The dinner and drink menu is a bit pricey, so factor that into your plans. I understand they have free shushi every Wednesday starting at 5:30. Also, their iced tea was the best I’ve ever had. There is a definite taste of cinnamon in it. Overall a great venue.Pros + Food, atmosphereCons – Pricey
From the fish sandwich to the chicken fried steak to the tuna melt – YUM! This is one downtown bar/restaurant where no one is putting on ‘airs’ – and they don’t have to – what they offer speaks for itself! Real, genuine, friendly staff, amazing food (I mean everything on the menu is fantastic), great bar selection, super-clean and plasma screen TVs scattered throughout – it’s all there. And the prices are way reasonable. I’ve been there during peak lunch rush times and on several occasions have watched the Mavs games there in the evenings – always entertaining. This is a perfect downtown location to meet before/after a game or concert – hang with friends – watch a game – without having to compromise food/service quality. I highly recommend. We even used the place for a private party/reception – all our guests (approx. 100?) were AMAZED. Press Box Grill – corner of Elm/Ervay. Pros + Food, service, atmosphere, location!Cons – Don’t forget to pay your meter! Still cheaper than lot p
