Where is the Best Bar Menu in Baltimore, Maryland?
This place is a true definition of what a gastropub should be. First and foremost, they brew beer here and the beer is great. Also, they serve their Belgian style house beers at the right temperature (not too cold,) which is optimal is getting the flavor of the beer out. The food could qualify as fine dining in a slightly…
Visited Baltimore from Miami & went to Kooper’s Tavern on a rainy Saturday afternoon…wasn’t too crowded but there was a nice mix of locals & tourists drinking, grabbing a bite & watching college football. The bartender, Nicole, couldn’t have been nicer! Manager Jeff was also great, as was the whole staff! Had THE BEST bloody mary I’ve ever had, nice & spicy! Also Nicole suggested their Kooper’s Yellow Tail Ale which was a great light beer. I had the sliders, which were tasty but it’s only 3 of them & they were very small. All in all though I had a great time here & I’ll definitely be going back whenever I’m in the Fells Point area. Pros + Atmosphere, great service, best bloody mary
We received gift certificates from family to use at Coburns come to find out when we went to use them they have the most strict policies in place for gift certificates. NEVER BUY A GIFT CERTIFICATE FOR SOMEONE TO THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU HATE THEM. They will end up spending just as much money as the actual gift card is for, because they have to in order to use them! oh, and don’t try to use two at a time or in the same month! And sitting at different tables and paying separately doesn’t work either… also must pay an 18% gratuity no matter what which gets added after you spend your $35 bucks on food to get the $25 off. Do the math… have to spend $35 to use a $25 gift card so… $35 x .18 = 6.30, 35-25= $10 + 6.30 = 16.30, however you do it, you will at least have to spend 16.30 going into using the gift card. Oh and cannot be used just for alcohol during a bar tab… only on dinning.Pros + food was goodCons – expensive food for a bar atmosphere, gift certificate process
It was my cousins 21st birthday…I’m from Buffalo…I have no idea what the hot locations are in Baltimore…We got in a limo…and the limo driver pulled near Sky Lounge to drop us off…everyone suggested a lame top-40 bar (which will remain un-named…haha)…I said let’s check this place out (pointing to Sky Lounge) They all rolled their eyes but eventually agreed. We walked in and we’re immediatley intrigued by the atmosphere. Upscale with a great vibe. I love the lighting & seating as well. Upstairs was the best part. We were all dancing and having a good time. I still talk about our time there…and that was back in September! Pros + Music & drink menuCons – Can be pricey & I hear parking is difficult
